A New Generation Rises...

Gwendolyn Mae Walker

Race: Human

Class: Archer

Historical Anecdote:

Gwendolyn has been sitting in Crispin's Glen. She appears to be thinking. After a moment, she picks up her bow and walks into the wood.

The crack of a twig ahead of her on the trail caused Alli to pause. She crouched behind a tree and held her breath. Gwendolyn walked into sight and Alli stepped out, casually. Big coursed forth to nudge Gwendolyn's hand. As the girls spoke, a crack of a whip deep in the wood could be heard and a cart crashed through the branches.

As the runaway cart careened past the girls, Bea tumbled out of the back to safety. The horses continued running, but calmed and slowed as they entered Crispin's Glen. Bea says, "The driver fell asleep and led them off the road. They were spooked by having gotten too clsose to the forest and the driver fell of the seat before he could wake up. Between the three of them, they managed to get the horses and cart back to the road, find the driver, and get them all safely back into town.

Mentor: Calemaria (KAL-ay-muh-REE-uh; "Faithful Honored Hunter")

The elfin archer Calemaria was adopted by a ghaele eladrin at a young age. With this ghaele she traveled the Lands of Mist, experiencing its wonders and confronting its horrors. The two were beautiful, heroic, and deadly to the oppressors they met in every domain. In their wake they left friends who whispered of them in awe. Years ago, an agent of the Court of Stars contacted Calemaria through her ghaele companion. She was asked to undertake a new war against evil. It was not an Epiphany; that event had already happened over a hundred years prior, but Calemaria was quick to accept. She parted ways with her longtime friend as easily and quickly as she had taken up her bow to travel with the eladrin. She settled in the Enclave to teach archery to the daughter of Jemily Walker.

Calemaria dwells outside of the Enclave, just a short distance into the Forest of Shadows in a quaint woodland cottage built among the trunks of four ancient oaks. There, she greets friends with open arms, though all in the Enclave know not to trespass on the archer's property.
